I have to boast a bit in this thread... 
I DID watch American Idol all that season, and from the get go there were two singers I had picked out as my faves- Chris Daughtry and Elliot Yamin. Those two had the #2 and #1 video spots respectively on VH1 recently. Can I pick 'em?
Just call me Simon.
On the other hand, DON'T.
But yeah, Chris is a good songwriter, and a great singer. And I love SG, but I dont get to see it much. This was cool.

Are a SG-1 lover myself and I have tried to follow the show like a proper fan but real life and my 5 seconds memory kinda destroy that.
