I promised myself I was not going to get caught up in the competitive part of creating webcomics with Xylia- and not worry about popularity and stats and all that crap. But....it was really fun watching the stats THIS week. The first week is always fun because if you get any traffic at all, you are going to jump pretty fast. After this, things will slow down tremendously, and it will take hard work and a bigger archive to get much higher.

I put a 'featured ad' up on Webcomic List, and that really generated some activity, but other than that it's mostly been old friends and word of mouth getting the visits.

First day on Webcomic list we were #1200 something- we have broken the top 100. #89.

TWC We had climbed to #130 something, but at the start of the month that has dropped back into the 200's. THat's my fault, I need to get vote incentives up, but just no time. NOt gonna worry about it.

First day on Drunk Duck we were #700+ in comic books and #900 something overall, now we are sitting at #117 and #169! And gone from 90 hits a day to over 2,000 hits in five days. That's pretty cool.

Now I need to stop looking. <.< >.>
