Great motion in this page! Some comic artist really have to struggle to get motion into their pages, but this page shows how naturally it comes to you (unless you did struggle - which I don't believe, since usually it shows).

I like especially the first row of panels. First an insane Tychia, then the "camera" coming closer to the door, and finally... "CRASHH!!"

Also, it's interesting how you blurred Charlie in the big panel. Really mediates the feeling that he's much closer than the background events.

All in all, one of my favaourite pages so far. Nothing wrong with it, as far as I can see. Wink

I agree with Elle on that first panel. You can almost see enraged spittle. Except I doubt rebel fairies spit when they talk :3

Holy smoking hell! I like that pootch! I want a doggie to protect me against evil monkeys that might want to spear me too (Hey - it oculd happen). This page is really awesome Barbington. I really like Tychia`s expression in that first panel. She`s looking completely furious and well...crazy in the scary way.

But I gotta say the last panel is by far my favourite. I sat with a flabbergasted expression and my mind just went: Livvy!? It`s an awesome job you did.

Are we absolutely sure that's Livy? I wont believe a thing until I'll see her for sure- Barb may fool us all! Rolling Eyes

I wonder if CC is threatening Livy in the end of the scene (you know with the old gales)... I thought he was aiming that spare at Brimaz, but now I'm not so sure.
I really love the middle panel with Charlie struggling to get up... It's like a little movie in one panel... Barb- your the best!

There's something so deeply disturbing about the idea of a giant corgi. (Mostly because after saving your life, a giant corgi would eat everything in the fridge, then squash you as it tried to climb into your lap.)

Barb showed me the script for this along time ago. And I loved it then. Said it would be a great moment. Boy was that ever an understatement. This page is stupenfanterous.

And the door flying apart looks like it's in 3-d! I wanted to bust out my family guy 3d glasses just to be sure.

And when did Ty get Steve Tyler's lips? No seriously, that panel is .. well I think Kez said it all. Feel like I should get ready to dodge enraged fairy spittle. Though maybe it works like dust...

I read the script for this page.. but I wasn't prepared for just the sheer awesomeness with which Barb pulled it off. I originally made a suggestion at one point, and she talked about it. But went a different direction. And it was a much much better direction.

Hey y'all- thank you for all the nice comments on this page. This was kind of the big climactic page I've been waiting to post for a long time. ^_^ Supercorgi!

Elle- you like them big shiny spitty lips? I was trying to distort her face in that panel- almost like through a fisheye lens to make her look claustrophobically close and reeeeally demented. The lip was just a happenstance. ^_^

Thanks Krozam- I was really trying to get a lot of chaotic motion in all of these pages, but this one probably came out better than the others. And yeah, I struggled!! ^_^ I wasn't going to make Charlie out of focus, but decided to, since that's how he feels, and he really isnt aware of what's going on behind him yet.

Kez- yeah, this faeirie spits. And does some other nasty things too, I'll bet. Wink

Ceri- THank you! I was hoping everyone would have a new respect for Liv after this page. Wonder what Charlie will think.

Meva- I was actually kind of worried about all the SFX in this page. Kind of like an episode of Batman the TV series! POW! CRASH! MODULATE!

Aerin- Noble steed!! HA HA! "I'm a noble steed!" I'm afraid this 'growing magic' isnt a simple thing that can be shared though. Sorry. Besides- giant cockatiel = giant cockatiel guano.

HAgar- you're right! Are we SURE that's Livy? I mean, COME ON, Barb likes to play tricks on us all... ^_^

Sparks- I love hearing the POV of a corgi owner on this! Just think how much more Corgi there is to love there!!

I would have commented on this page earlier, but I was completely mesmerized by blurry and bleeding Charlie. Apparently, I like it when men are hurt... Confused

Also, I like the flying debris and the red glow in giant Livy's eyes! I knew there was more to her than meets the eye. After all, she is a fairy-dog...
Tychia is looking exceptionally scary and demented! The more I look at her, the more I think she's the coolest fairy ever. I would say that this is my favourite page so far, but I always say that. But it is indeed awesome, cool and very exciting!

I don't think Charlie would ever be in any danger from Livy though, I'm sure she's a good doggie.
