Go CC! you can take on the monkey and the hussy!
I really like the leaves in the middle part of the page... They come from Azole? What is Alberic saying? I know "papa"...
If CC dies & then comes back, why did Brimaz & Tychia think they can finish him off with that spear? How come CC remembers something now? So many things to think about..
The blood droops are so good Barb. But my favorite thing is your style. Damn, I like it brown! It's so, so dark & mystic, that style. But if you'll do every thing like that we won't have a purple lady, won't we? _________________ "Every word is like an unnecessary stain on silence and nothingness."

And perhaps they only need one of his bodies to do whatever it is they have planned. I mean, we know he won't come back in the form that he is now, first he has to be a baby again.
I do wonder what they want with C/C's body...
Hehe.

Also: I am so in love with C/C's pale green eyes on this page! Such a wonderful touch. |

Ah, so Barb has finally shown us something she can do that is more disturbing than her dead eyes. And that's at death's door eyes. *shudder*
The detail of grass and leaves and so on is exquisite here. I'd call this a melding of the two styles Barb has been using. Half sepia, half modern. Usually with the Sepia stuff it doesn't get so extreme in to the detail. But here it is. And I love it.
So.. is Claude's dad is Reginard? And is Claude Alberic? So many questions. So many questions. _________________ The meaning to life is *censored!*

Well... Hello everyone.
It's too bad that Barb doesn't know any french reader. 'Cause i'm sure i'm not the only one.
So, I think I must spend some time explaining the discution in this page (and prensent some correction to our dear author, if she want to be more accurate).
Hagar, in english the speakings might be:
"Let's go, Reginard."
"Dad? Where am I?"
And now come the mistakes :
If the first sentence is really "let's go" the text sould be in french: "allons-y". The word "nos" is a bit strange for me here. I think barb wanted to say "we are going", but the translation she poduced is... "our are going".
Our what? There non-sense here, and correct sentences you can choose are:
let's go ->allons y
we are going -> nous y allons
our friends/comrades are going->Nos amis/camarades s'en vont
we must go->il faut y aller
I really need the orignal tought of Barb to be more accurate, but the major idea here is that "nos y allons" is a non sense.
And in the question, there is a little mistake. In french the interogative form of the sentences is "verb subject ?". So here "Oł suis-je?" is better than "Oł je suis?".
And after all this agressive correction, I must say that I admire the search done by Barb on old french langages. I didn't know such things, but I know that gernesey- french is spoken by only a handle of people, because Guernesey is a small island. Around 100-150 in the world speak this langage, and i'm not sure I could understand it. |

Hey thanks cedor- I actually have discovered some French readers this week! I have one gal who has offered to help me with translations in future pages of this kind. A lot of the flashback dialogue will be using translated text in English << like this >> but this page was suppsoed to be confusing and highlight the weirdness of going from here to there.
Thank you for the explaination though!
