Hi, Xyliacs! Very Happy I'm mevanova, and I was very sad to see Talismen disappear like it did. Sad So imagine my surprised happiness when I was looking at Sarah's Phoenix Requiem, and saw the link to a new Barb Jacobs project! I immediately checked it out, and I gotta say, Barb never fails to amaze and touch. I'm so happy you decided to start another project - Ollie and Astrina were the most adorable couple! Smile

EDIT: I should add that I only got caught up in Talismen after it had been updating for a while (So there's no confusion about how much of a fan I am. Smile). Next thing I knew, I got caught up in life-stuff again, and when I moseyed on back, it was gone! Sad So once again, YAY for Xylia!

HA HA!! I love 'Xyliacs'! Do you have a trademark on that, or can I use it?
Xyliacs™!! Sounds like a medication for some sort of digestive problem, doesnt it?! Wink

Welcome to the forum, Mevanova, or if I may call you meva or MN or something. It's nice to have a new member, we havent had any in a while! (well, HUMAN anyway...lots of spambots!)

Sorry about the Talismen thing. It was actaully a very long time coming for me, but I guess to a lot of people it was pretty sudden. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, but I promise it hurt me more than anyone else.

I'm glad you are enjoying Xylia, I hope you continue to!

Thanks for joining!

See ya 'raund!

Barb, you can totally use Xyliacs, I just made that up on the spot. Smile And you may call me meva if you wish, I just hijacked my DeviantArt moniker to use as a username. Actually, call me whatever you want - I'm open to nicknames! (Just please for the love of god don't call me mevvy Evil or Very Mad )

If by 'digestive problem' you mean 'not enough webcomics like Xylia out there', then that's an emphatic YES!! Oh, boy, there I go behaving like some wacky fan again . . . oh wait, that's exactly what I am! LOL

I don't blame you - as a fellow artist (well, amateur poet anyway) I can understand how creativity and real life intersect. At least, that's what always happens with me whenever an art (writing) project goes ka-blooie.

The 'chicken thing' huh? Sounds like I have some sleuthing to do! Very Happy

EDIT: I should make it clear that the webcomic link I had posted in my signature IS NOT MINE. It's the comic that introduced me into the webcomic-ing side of the Internet, and it suddenly occured to me that when you put a webcomic link in your sig, people usually tend to think that you're the one who makes it. EEK! So I just wanted to clear that up. Sorry! Embarassed

*Glomps the newbie* A new person yay. Welcome to the house of crazyness and insidejokes in the form of a chicken. And don't let us scare you, we don't bite, well we might sometimes do it but only as a defence. Twisted Evil

By the way I want to be the shapeshifter or the magician. Very Happy
And do we get the wear spandex because I pretty sure I would look odd in spandex.
