I had my doubts when they said they were making Angel Season 6 a comic book but then I went and downloaded the first couple of issues (yes I'm going to buy them later on, I just wanted a quick looksee whether or not they were worth spending money on). Anyway, here's one of the pages. It's non violent, a little bit of sexual suggestion, but as expected from the series, it's tasteful and humorous. I went and made a thumbnail for you people on dialup just to be nice, be warned, it's kind of a big file. Somewhere around 300k, so it may take a minute to load.

As you can see, the art is very good, as is the plot. I won't give any more spoilers than the page provides, but yeah... it's good.

(Not sure if it should be on this board, I'm sure it'll be moved if not, but it's based on a show, so... Didn't know where else to put it.)

I've been meaning to check out a few Angel comics myself, but I've never gotten around to it. Might be because Wesley's dead. Although in that world you never know if they stay dead...

That is true, the characters from Joss Whedons creations seems to have the habit of coming back from death no matter how they died.

Well a Wolfram & Hart contract DOES extend well past death...
And he WAS an employee when he died...

Uh... Considering what he was doing while he died, I'm not sure that's a good thing for him. Laughing
