Jerel- why? what did I do wrong now? (never type after midnight)
I have more good news. Really good. I've been called to the head of the department office yesterday. Me & some other guys. & She told us that we are good, very good. So good that we can get a scholarship for our M.A studies. In Europ.
A full scholarship, one that takes care of more then school's fee. We call it "a living" Scholarship, one that makes life, well, better.
I CAN STUDY IN THEATRE IN EUROP ON SOMEBODY'S ELSE'S EXPENSSE!
Well, not yet. I need to be back from Venice, & finish my B.A & then. But she said I'll get it again. My life is kinda falling to place.
Oh, & the premiere is this Saturday, yesterday we had a seminar about the topic- Bedouin (Arab nomads that live in Israel). The show deals with a really difficult stuff, terrible things that the country is doing to it's citizens. Second class citizens. The day went well- nobody yelled at us, the culture minister (who is a Bedouin) came & the hall wasn't empty. The show will be good. I'm tired. & I got homework to do, though most of my professors are still on strike. But still, my life are going somewhere.
Wanna see our publicity card? (yeah, it's in Hebrew) Here it is. Please remember- Hebrew is written from right to left:

Cool! Hebrew is on my list languages to learn something about. I've been told it's an absolutely fascinating language.
Good luck with the show, and congrats on the scholarship! _________________ "Find what you're following and chase it down."

Those are high wire lines. There's no oil in Israel...
It's where they live- their unrecognized village.

CT- you took Hebrew lessons?!? Cool! But why?
The big black letters read Beduim= Bedouin
It's the letter- Bet, Dalet, Vav, Aleph, Yud, Mem (end of word form). Does this help? _________________ "Every word is like an unnecessary stain on silence and nothingness."

I have been and am training to be a pastor. Part of those studies at one point (i've take hiatuses in said training at times) was studies of biblical era hebrew (old testament) and biblical era greek.
I was also teaching myself at one point.. because I was once given a beautiful bible written completely in biblical era hebrew and I wanted to be able to read it for myself.
But it's been years since that class and I worked on it... so as I said.. beyond letters.. I've forgotten almost everything.
Sort of like the german I once knew.. hm. _________________ The meaning to life is *censored!*

In Sweden, there's a non-profit organisation called RFSU, which translates into The Swedish Association for Sexuality Education. It deals with issues such as sexual and reproductive health and rights, and just a couple of days ago I found out that they where looking for volunteers for going around in schools talking about these issues. There would be a short educational program (40 hours, taking place over about a month). So I wrote a letter and applied.
Today, they called and said that I'd been elected, along with 21 others. Yay!
Mostly, the reason I'm so happy about this is that I've realised this autumn that I've been holding myself back in so many ways. I've refrained from doing all sorts of things because I'm not sure how it would work out, if I could handle the situation or simply because it seems like too much trouble. I wasn't sure I should even try to do this, but I did! Huzzah! |

It's great to have a success like this! I hope you do a lot of good for your community.

Good news, eh? Hm...not a whole lotta that going around lately, most unfortunate for moi.
The one bit of good news is this: I became a poet. I discovered I could write poetry after having a religious experience watching Dead Poets Society. I promptly got all of the angst out by writing as much free verse as I possibly could (which I promptly posted on DA ) and recently tried my hand at writing an ode. If any of you write poetry or know someone on DeviantArt who does, I most humbly entreat you to critique my work.
Other than that, not a whole lot, other than graduating from high school last May. _________________ "Be thou a spirit of health or goblin damn'd,/Bring with thee airs from heaven or blasts from hell/Be thy intents wicked or charitable,/Thou comst in such a questionable shape/That I will speak to thee."
