This page is frickin' HILARIOUS. What a change from the previous page! And he's even POLITE when he apologizes for freaking out the old ladies! "Dreadfully sorry," hehehe. Oh jeez, I <3 Charlie. He's so..him. Very Happy

I wonder who he was expecting to see? I bet Barb will go all "La la la la la" on this...
That red handbag is probably very painful. Poor CC, it looks like it wasn't his night!
"How did this happen again?"- So it's not his first time out in the rain, with a half open tuxedo shirt, covered in lipstick, holding a spear, bleeding & scaring old ladies? Cool!

I just noticed he is wearing just one watch. I wonder...
I also wonder what (& if) the watch will do now that he's not meeting Dr. Ambrosia. Will it tell him the time at Aloze? Will it tell him when Xylia is dropping by? ("oh dear! it's almost Xylia time! hear is your clothes dear, take the window, she will be here any second...". No, he won't cheat in her. It will be more like: "Oh dear! it's almost Xylia time! I've got to clean this place a bit. Livy, don't just sit there, shove those papers under the bed or something!")
Great page Barb! Can't wait to see how he got to where he is...

Behold! My new favorite page! Grannies with purses and the word "nutters". This is delicious.

Thank yous! ^_^

I was hoping that this would be unexpected. May be a few more twists and turns before Charlie's night is over.

Hmm...if those elderly ladies had been driving slowly in front of me, I could be tempted to take a spear to them, too. But, just for walking by? Let's be real now. ;-)

Another fantastic page, Barb!

Hey, just dropping in some two cents (no, really, I mean it)... I haven't read the newest page because I didn't have my browser at work set to the new link. And if I weren't a regular, I wouldn't know the new site was mentioned last week.

So I'd suggest for new readers, have your new site plastered permanently all over the main DrunkDuck page. For if you just say 'at the main Xylia site', then you've just potentially missed a new fan.

And of course, we want people to come and stay. ...and read the latest comic!

Good idea^^ I added a small notice at the top of the page, Barb. I didn't want to make it all big and flashy, since DD folks are so, um, emotional about "leaving!" notices. Very Happy

Very Happy Brilliant! I love those two ladies, they're just great.
Poor Charlie, he's very British, isn't he?
Also: You've got to stop doing these cliffhangers, Barb, they make me too anxious. It's like an itch in my head. But, you know, in a good way... Razz

Steve- thanks for stopping by!

Mere- Thanks for the tip. Actually DD is a little funky (understandably) about you using your site that they host and screaming "LEAVE DRUNK DUCK AND GO HERE!" So out of courtesy, I 've been pretty understated about the move. I did post a large moving image about three weeks ago, that brought most of the regulars with me. Then I've been posting weekly teaser pages. Actaully Keenspot doesnt want me posting anything at all, but Im doing it anyway. I figured if people came to the site, saw the teaser page, that they would figure it out. I think the link at the top of the page is good, Kez. Thanks for posting that.

SI- Cliffhangers are the only way to get folks coming back every week! ^_^ Hee hee. I think some of the coming pages wont be quite so bad. more continuous story. I hope that helps.
