"The Hastings Baby", eh? I wonder why that is...
Arsonphobic, what is that? The closest I get is arson, so is he he afraid of being burned alive or something? Or maybe of setting fire on things...

Can't wait to find out more about Mr Ravensdale!

Hee hee--

You kids should google some stuff. But I will explain for ya.

Aquaphobia- fear of water. Arsonphobia is the fear of fire. Now just WHY would Charlie be afraid of water and fire? He doesnt know.

'Hastings Baby'- as in the Battle of Hastings that took place on Senlac Hill on October 14 1066...odd that this baby would be found there on the anniversary of that day. In't it? Where have I heard of that before...

Also odd that he would have this extraoridinary piano playing ability and never had a lesson...

Yeah, Charlie has some peculiar traits.

Net- Im sorry you are having trouble reading that- this is the font I always use on Xylia and have never heard a complaint.- is anyone else having trouble? If so I will change it out.

Ohohoh! Incorrectly diagnosed??? Is that a spoiler?

And I think it's only hard to read because of the pale white against black, not so much the font as color vs. background color. Or maybe that's me.

I wouldn't have considered the 'incorrectly' to be a spoiler. I thought it was fairly obvious from the comic itself that it was an incorrect diagnosis. =)

The font is a little hard to read (although I too am using a lap top) But it just takes getting used to. It's special. It's bizzar at first when all of the letter is concentrated on the top, but you get it after a few words. I can read it.

Pssht, it wasn't on Wikipedia. If it's not on Wikipedia, it doesn't exist. Razz
Actually, Wiki lists fear of fire as pyrophobia, which is also the Swedish name. So there.

I think it's a memory from a previous incarnation. When he was a chicken and became dinner. He gets flashbacks of a boiling pot over an open fire. That's why he's also afraid of leek, carrots and Cannellini beans. Yup.

Lol. You people are crazy, you know that? Not that I mind, I'm greatly amused every time I visit this forum.

That piano thing is obviously also from some previous incarnation. Which means, he's probably also quite proficient with that spear. Or he should be, it's not showing in his form. Rolling Eyes

I don't know about that arsonphobia either, sounds kind of weird. Pyrophobia makes much more sense.

What crap? The bio? It looks terrific, especially the nose... and his pensive eyes... and his constantly messy hair... and that cool thing he's wearing... and his knobbly chin... and serious eyes... and... that's about all the bits visible. In short, Charlie looks like he always does: expressive, much to serious for his own good, and rather lovable. And awesome, because that's how all your stuff looks.

Arsonophobia is the little used twin brother of pyrophobia. Trust Kez. She knows. They are synonyms. "Arson" comes from the latin, and "Pyr" from the greek. How do I know? Because I looked it up on (DUNDUNDUN!) Dictionary.com! Razz

They mean the same thing, it's just that you've heard the other around. Same thing as ECG vs. EKG, or MRI vs. NMR. Same thing, if you're a science geek (like meeee!)
