It's up early! Yaaaay.
This page is amazing. And I have absolutely NO idea what's going on. Hehe.

Except our wee little Charlie's getting some action, eh? Wink

( . . . wow, I did mean that because of the kisses and open shirt, but he is bleeding rather profusely and is holding a spear. So really in all connotations of the word. Hm.)

I'm not even going to try to guess at this one. Except that the only character we've seen so far who could leave those kind of kisses (who wears heavy lipstick, is what I meant) is Tychia. . . . Would that explain her lipstick smear on the cover page? (I'm just guessing of course, but - dun dun DUN!)

Aaah such a great way to start with a bang! (Both to start the chapter and to start at keenspot Smile

Thanks Coldfire and Mira!

As a webstoryteller, there are three things that I absolutely LOVE to hear/read.

1) 'Your story brightens up my Mondays!'
2) 'That made me cry!'
3) 'I GOTTA KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!'

Xylia is kind of an experiment. If you havent noticed, every page ends with a mini cliffhanger. This is totally by design- a treat and a ploy for my readers...to get you to come back! Since the tale only updates once a week, I try to entice everyone somehow with something that will bring them back each week. I dont know how this will effect the story as a whole however, but it is kind of fun.

This page made me laugh when I wrote the script for it a while back. Here is this gangly, nerdish character wearing an unbuttoned tuxedo shirt in the rain, covered in kisses, bleeding and holding a spear. And someone is screaming! WHAT THE HECK indeed.

The London skyline is very beautiful. And wet Charlie, well, you know what we think of young wet man... Wink

I'm glad to see his not THAT hurt- if he can swing that thing then he's OK. I wanna know where he is, what is this place, and why he thought that he wouldn't be hurt by that big & pointy spear.

I noticed something- he has lipstick all over his face, & some on his neck, Embarassed

, but little on his own lips. For me t means we see him after he maybe fooled around with someone, but nothing to do with love there...

One of the things about the story telling in Xylia is that time will have a certain fluidity to it. It is one of those stories that won't be told in a straight line.

You'll see what I mean.

Rocky Horror! HA HA!
And Charles was never told not to run with sharp things, obviously.
Bad boy.

So who's eye is he about to poke out, anyway?
