Realised I missed this thread that we had in the tallyforum and decided to restart it here in our new home in Xylialand. Maybe I missed it because I am both angry and depressed today.

I worked so hard to design 3 concepts for the actress who created the show I'm working on. she LOVED each and every one of them, and always a few days later she wanted something new.
2 (!) weeks before the show is supposed to come out (this Sunday 21.10, first day of the academic year), she has a NEW idea- similar to my first design. I said OK, & started buying everything, missing sleep & bugging work people.
We had everything we need, me & my mom worked until 2 in the morning to get it all done. I came on Saturday alone to the uni & build all.

Sunday she is NOT satisfied. She took the benches to the carpenter & shortened them. fine.
She brought new curtains. great. no problem.
She re-painted stuff. whatever.

I call her & ask her when should I come (it just 1.5 hour drive), & she's all "you don't need to come, Ive done it all. Boy, that was hard work I did. yep. not easy at all doing it all alone." So I didn't drive to Tel-Aviv.
But this morning she SMS me- "can you take the stuff you bought back to the stores?" & I said, it's hard, it's all in the market of Jerusalem, everything cost so little, it might be a problem. so she replied: "it's a pity that you didn't ask them".

I haven't replied that. I have nothing to say to her- whatever I do, she does her way. If I have a chipper & better idea to solve the problem- she "tries" it, & somehow it never works, & she get her own expensive- hard work way. I say nothing. I will be quiet.

Ah man, actors...
I love drama and theater (wich is lucky for me, since I'll be teaching just that...) but sometimes, the people who work with it professionally, they can be... well, strangely self-centered. Rolling Eyes

Me: "I want to get my crap sorted out first."
Mom: "You act so anti-social all the time! Find a girlfriend! It'll be good for you!"

What is it with people (mostly relatives) who say things like that and always makes it seem like you aren't happy or (as one of my former friends once said) have a life if you don't have a lifepartner. And who said there is a time limit to your grieving process, everyone take their own time to get over tragic happenings in their life.

I'm really actually not happy and I don't have a life lol. But there's certain elements I want to get figured out and fixed up before I find a girl to share my life with.

That's a tricky one, because you know they say it because they care and want to see you happy, but at the same time, you want to go: If I'm not with someone, it's because I haven't met someone I WANT to be with, now get out of my business!

My personal angry rant:
In the course I'm taking right now, we'll be leading a class at a local school. The other day we went there to meet the group and plan the lesson with the teacher, and it turns out that she is actually one of my old classmates from uni. The first thing she says to me is: Oh, haven't you finished your studies yet? I've been working for three years now.
Wow. I really needed to hear that. Thanks. I don't already hate the fact that I'm not done, though I should have been! Evil or Very Mad

She has no idea what's been going on in my life! I might have been on maternity leave, I might have been studying abroad, I might have had a brain tumor, I might have been in jail!
None of that is true, but still. What gives her the right to talk to me like that?

In a very odd and funny way, this is so much fun. It's very liberating too. I actually felt better after writing what I did, not so alone in this world. It's helps to know someones listening, & that other people have problems. Helps me deal better.
