Sucky Schooling System

I don't know how schooling and stuff works overseas, but in Australia the major secondary school exam is the Higher School Certificate. You sit the School Certificate in Year 10, to allow you to pass onto the HSC course, and then you do 3 terms of year 11, then 4 terms of Year 12 before you do your HSC exams.
What is very stupid about that is that you have to do a minimum of 12 units (most subjects are 2 units) to pass Year 11, then you only have to do 10 to do your HSC, and because of the work load, they really don't want you doing more than 12 units in Year 12. I'm doing Extension 1 & 2 English, which means that I'm currently doing 14 units (extensions are 1 unit each), which means I have to drop a subject in a couple of weeks (Yr 12 just started)
.............AND BECAUSE I NEED ALL MY OTHER SUBJECTS.............

 I HAVE TO DROP ART!!!!!!!!!

It's not fair.
