Yeah, that she does. I was mostly focusing on the wrinkles of the gi, and just blotted in the eyes ><

I usually spend a little more time on eyes, and while I hate using the excuse, I have to admit I don't care as much as I should. That's why I'm a bio major.

OO!! That is gorgeous! I love the shading on this - especially around the neck and folds in the fabric. Actually I think the eyes are well done.

Because I am addicted to an audience now, I occasionally have "get drawn" challenges in my forum, wherein I draw forum members as certain things. The first one was to "get drawn as an Ayenroki," which was rather popular. I had to just say "no" to some people after I drew 6 portraits.

The current one is also comic related: post a pic of yourself, pick a weapon and a species. I have 5 people slotted, and just got through one. Now, due to the nature of teh schooling, these aren't supposed to be wonderful works of art, just something fun. Here's the result of the first one: Ayenroki with blue-steeled scythe. Blue steel being a living, semi-organic, not-fully-solid metal.

The picture was kinda dim (lit by firelight, at night) and small, hence the facial issues, and slightly crooked eyes *sigh*. But it's okay. Just practice and fun. The person this one is based takes the challenges pretty seriously, and tries to look fierce for these. Everyone else is always just smiling. Not very Ayenroki of them! hehehe

Hehe, to me a scythe is a rather ungainly weapon, but the thing about blue steel is that it changes form to suit the wielder. Of course, only masters can manipulate the metal in such a way, but it's fun to draw^^
