Mah music

Postby Jerle on Sat Oct 06, 2007 2:14 pm

Right now I'm listening to Number One from the Bleach OST, I'm a mudvayne, metallica, godmack, korn, drowning pool, disturbed, white zombie, union underground kind of guy typically. Although, I love classical, some opera, and a few country music songs.
I think I covered this in my intro. Oh well. I've had too much coffee to care

Me thinks it's 'Godsmack' and 'Disturbd'. But Im just a dumb ol' lady.

Im more of a Queens of the Stoneage, System of a Down, Knights of Cydonia fan when it comes to guitar rockin.

I digs the classical as well. And da jazz.

Godsmack, Rob/White Zombie and Drowning Pool are great! Number One too, although Bleach OST otherwise isn't worth listening to by itself (try Naruto or Tsubasa Chronicle soundtacks, they're on a whole different level).

As for me, I mostly listen to metal (although I avoid those where the singers growl or where there's no melody at all). But anything goes except for rap and hip hop. I hate it when they talk instead of singing, and even empasize oddly. -.-'

I actually don't really classify rap/hip hop as music. My classification for it is "That which makes kids stupid", since I've noticed that a lot of kids who listen to it heavily really aren't very smart. Then again, this is oklahoma. It may just be the quality of the local schools that's detrimental in the mental development of kids here. It's just that rap is popular around here. Also in pittsburgh. (Yeah I lived in pitt for a year.) Although, that may just have been a case of kids growing up to be hardheaded due to their environment.
Oh yeah, I forgot to throw Queen in there. I loves me some Queen.

Well, I'd agree, if not for one of my best friends listening to rap. Not that he was smart, but he's not stupid either.

I a classic rockgirl all the way with some alternitive rock, celtic folkmusic, country and some metall taking some space when I need it. But I have crazy moments when I listen to popmusic from the 80'ies and any kinds of music from the 60'ies. I blame that on my sister and my dad, they have had to much influence on my musiclistening over the years.
And Queen are gods, it is sad that their singer died all those years ago, they aren't really Queen without Freddy.

Now that is music, thank the gods that no bottle blond Britney Spears thing has destroyed it yet.
