I love the way she seems cold- her cheeks are red from the cold... I do love those brown pictures of yours, with the preachment feel. They are so worm, & give your pic some sort of a melancholy feeling, which I like. Less shiny then Tali pics. It feels like those paintings are more "grown-up" & Xylia is far an older crowed.
Great job Barb! & exciting new comic for Sarah!

Beautiful! She also looks like she could be Neirenn from Inverloch. I think its mainly the hair style that makes the two characters look similiar, though.

Personally, I'm more into Disney than manga-style when it comes to character-design, so for that reason Barbs style works better than Sarahs for me.

To be perfectly honest? I was really perterbed at your request - it was incredibly exorbitant and not in the spirit of a Talismen fan- more of a self serving idea, so I didn't do it. That's me being the mercurial artist I am. I was SO frustrated in fact, I made the decision to do away with that contest altogether.

At this point, I don't draw anything Talismen even if I had started something. I know it's hard for people to understand, but it's very personal. A bit like a breakup of sorts. Gotta leave it.

I dont know if people will ever be as into XYlia as they were into Talismen. There is no Ollie. ^_^ If Charlie doesn't start 'talking' to me when I write the way Ollie used to, I dont knwo if anyone will really care about him.

Well, I did tell you that it was only an idea, and that you only needed to tell me if it was too much. I'm sorry it frustrated you so much. Next I would've told you to draw whatever you wanted yourself, since I couldn't decide what I wanted myself.

I don't know about others, but I think I'm going to like Charlie more that Ollie. Not quite yet, there's so much Talismen material and so little Xylia material, but in time I believe Charlie will surpass the Talismen characters. As I wrote in another topic, he has such an aura of wisdom and thoughtfulness on him, I'll most likely appreciate it more than Ollie's humour and self-confidence.
