I hate people that can't drive in snow. Here in VA, when they *CALL* for snow, everyone starts driving like an idiot.
Note that it's not snowing yet. Oh no... they CALLED FOR SNOW!! I MUST NOW DRIVE 15 miles an hour on the highway!!!
And god forbid you need groceries when they announce on the news that a snowstorm is coming.
They MOB the bloody stores. People that haven't been grocery shopping since last year crawl out of the hole they've been hiding in just to push ahead of YOU in line. ARGH
And what do they buy? Every loaf of bread, every carton of milk, and every carton of eggs. The canned goods are always left alone, it's JUST the bread, milk and eggs that everyone buys in bulk.
I kid you not, I've seen people with five dozen loaves of bread and a dozen gallons of milk before, with looks of panic on their faces.
I mean, COME ON. Number one, if you lose power because of the storm, it's not like you're going to be able cook anything unless you have gas appliances. Number two, the only combo I can really think of from those three ingredients...
French Toast.
Does everyone LOVE french toast THAT MUCH??! Argh..
Anyway, there's my pet peeve.
