It sure was.

Yes they have done alot of better songs but Stand my Ground was one of the first I heard of their songs and in the beginning I liked it but as I said I have heard it to often.

Nightwish is a good band I listened alot to them befor I found WT.
I heard that they got a new singer now and I am hoping she will work for them. Haven't heard any new songs where she sings yet so I am curious is there any here that could say if she is any good??

Elle: Isn't the 2 song from BtVS: Once more with a feeling????

I kind of like the new singer. She can't sing "opera-style" as well as Tarja, but her voice changes more between songs, creating more variation. The music is still as good as always. You should check out the new album, "Dark Passion Play."

Elle: It sounded like one of the songs from that...

Krozam: Okej, variation is good even if I will miss Tarjas operalike voice.

Elle's songs from Tuesday -

Oh god I know the second song. I really really do the tune is so close to being in my mind - like on the tip of my tongue! Daaaamn. That's going to come to me at some time like right as I'm falling asleep, or in the middle of math class or something. I'm gonna let it percolate and return! (erg . . . so . . . annoying . . . )

And the third is Hallelujah, which has been sung by like six billion different artists. It's still pretty though. :) (You know, I don't know who first wrote it/sang it. When was written anyways?)

Since we're all posting answers now:

1. Platypus (I Hate You) by Green Day

2. One Way or Another by Blondie

3. Mr. Brightside by the Killers

4. Warning by Green Day

5. Wendy Clear by Blink-182
"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance. I had high hopes of being Evil when I was two, but in my youth I came upon a firefly burning in a spider's web. I saved the victim's life."
"The firefly's?" said the minstrel.
"The spider's. The blinking arsonist had set the web on fire."

So, we're starting a new round? Very well... This time from the full music collection on my laptop:

1.
"I call and I call
Just to make things right
How I lost the fight
Where were you last night
I beg and I cry
I've been asking why
Where were you last night
Where were you last night"

2.
"I held you tight to me
But you slipped away
You promised to return to me
And I believed, I believed"

3.
"Rinta rinnan marssimme
Veressämme kaadumme
Loppuun asti taistelemme
Viimeiseen mieheen
Erottuu jyvät akanoista
Teemme selvää pakanoista
Metalli virtaa suonissamme
Veljeskuntamme on
Voittamaton!
Voittamaton!
Voittamaton!"

4.
"I don't think you trust
In
My
Self-righteous suicide
I
Cry
When angels deserve to
DIIIIIE!"

5.
"You wake up, where's the tomb?
Will Easter come, enter my room?
The lord weeps with me
But my tears fall for you"

Bad luck folks, there's one in Finnish...
