I'm Miriam. I'm almost 18 (november! two more months . . .), and in my final year of high school (just don't talk about colleges to me for the next couple of months . . . *shivers*).
hm. I'm a lurker by nature. Maybe that'll change? Doubt it will this semester
. (Then again, I registered, right?) I've been following Xylia since the end of Talismen, because Barb's art is awesome sauce and I'm psyched for the storyline. (Reincarnation, fairies, and chickens. how can you go wrong? . . . ok, so the chickens aren't in the story. Yet. I told you, I'm a lurker. I know things . . . )
I like cats! My brother got a new kitten this summer actually, and I got to go visit him and play with her and she was so cute. and hyperactive. ^^ I play viola and I sing (classical), semi-seriously. Playing in an orchestra is one of my favorite things to do in the world. I listen to a lot of classical music, and love it. I like books! And I read lots of webcomics. But this is one of my favs (as was Tally), which is why I'm joining the forum. And joined the forum there, too.

My username is in reference to auroras, actually (Aurora Borealis/Australis). I was obsessed with them in middle school, and saw something refer to them as "cold fire of the night"; I started using coldfire aurora as my screenname, and coldfire stuck with me. That's one of the things I want to do before I die - see an aurora.
I could keep babbling about random facts, but I won't. Aah, this got too long. Sorry?
