I mean, really. There are six billion others just like me scuttling around on this planet, bumping into each other and knocking over baskets and frightening the birds. I was much happier just tagging along on that little interview thread, the one with the age-range and the favorite films. I spelled "gymnastic" wrong on that post.
I live in Maine, but I used to live in California, Utah, Georgia, and New Hampshire. At different times. I don't have multiple homes or anything like that. I spent six years in the Marines, but I never served with Ollie from Talismen because he was a grunt and I fixed radios. (But never the ones I was trained to fix.)
I write stories every once in a while. I'm currently working on a story called "Justice" which I will be posting on Aldoraworld.com. That's a collaborative fantasy site where writers and artists build the world with their stories and their art. I also like to cook, and build things out of wood, and take pictures, and read, and post messages on forums. I don't have cable TV, or satellite, or one of those TiVO things, or an i-anything. The day I spend six hundred bucks on a phone is the day I toss myself under the wheels of a speeding cement truck. That would probably make headlines. "i-Phone user buys new phone, commits suicide." I also participate in National Novel Writing Month, which challenges writers to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days. (All of those days occur in November. Check it out at www.nanowrimo.org)
I work as a Ed Tech at a public school. That's a nice way to say "kid herder" because that's generally what I do. Six more credits of math will earn me a coveted Provisional Teaching Certification so that I can herd much larger gaggles of children, and perhaps teach them something when they aren't expecting it.
And that's that.
