Everything looks great. I hope everything worked out for you since the closing of Talismen. Anyway, I just happened to log onto Talismen today and I saw a few people talking about Xylia. Couldn't find a link so I googled it. Well I'll see y'all a bit later.

For some reason, I thought about Talismen, and I thought, How is Barb doing with that? And then I thought, "What was Barb's last name?" And then I thought "It was Jacobs. Barbara L. Jacobs." So then I thought, I should type her name into Google, and see how that whole Talismen thing is going. Google returned her Elfwood page, so I used the link from the Elfwood page to get to the Talismen page.
When I saw that Talismen has ceased to grow, I was a little sad, because I know that Barb put her whole life into that thing. But then, I saw that she had some other ideas, and I followed a link that took me to her LiveJournal. That ended up being sad too, so then I followed another link to this page.
And now that I'm here, I can only say that I wish I could give Barb a big hug. I wouldn't even say anything, like Oh, cheer up, things will get better, or Hey, at least you aren't living in Baghdad with "Bush Rules, Al Sadr drools" tattooed on your forehead in Arabic. No, I'd just give her a hug and keep my big mouth shut.
So that's my story.

Hi Belcatar! I'm sorry that all of these things have saddened yoU! I think I need to put something up on the Talismen site that I am working on this. It sounds like folks are having to look around a bit, and that's no good!
Welcome to the forum. I hope that you enjoy Xylia. It has some similar elements to Talismen, but is different. ^_^ I hope anyway!!
